COMPANY HISTORY
ESEN BUILDERS was originally founded in Dar es Salaam in 1994 as a Building and Civil Engineering Contactors and was registered by the national Contractor Registration Board (CRB) in Class Seven. Since then it has been involved mainly in building maintenance, rehabilitations, new construction and occasionally road repairs and supply of building materials and as a result of its credible performance it has been rising stage by stage until now is in Class Four for Buildings and Class V for Civil Works. ESEN is now also venturing into property development business.
MAIN OBJECTIVES
ESEN BUILDERS’ main objective is managed on Total Quality Management principles where continuous improvement and customer satisfaction is considered paramount to our success. Our goal is to become one of the leading Building contractors in the country specifically specialising in design and construction.
However, our road map to achieving this depends also on capital and professional
skills. This is not simple because while capital can be obtained locally, some of the skills and specialities are lacking in the country requiring the importation of outside experiences. In recognizing this we have teamed up with VDNDP of LIJNBAANSGRANCHT 57, 1015 GS, Amsterdam in the Netherland, which is among
the leading consulting companies in the Netherland in the construction sector to undertake property development in Tanzania.
PERSONNEL
ESEN Builder’s services are provided by a highly experienced and educated, inhouse staff of licensed professionals, project managers, and technicians supplemented by a consortium of highly qualified professional consultants from within and outside of the country. Consortium consultants include Architects, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Human Resource Specialists, and a Matrix of Technicians with professional qualifications, experience and reputation, combined with their versatility and ability to provide service in a timely manner. This unique blending of resources through the application of strong project management skills is a strength of the company’s success.
